CSBG Donates New School Outfits To Children Within The Region
The CSBG Client Advocate - Andrea Thurman, along with the help of the Special Projects Coordinator - Angie Sullivan, were able to deliver a new school outfit, new shoes, a haircut and other items to 42 children throughout the counties we serve. Each pile of clothing represents a child that will get to start their first day of school with a boost in confidence and encouragement.
This was not possible without the generous donations that organizations and individuals throughout the counties provided to our agency to make this happen. We greatly express our gratitude to: The Rotary Club of Kirksville, Iris and Ivy, Lancaster Flowers, Hollister and their employees, Bank of Monticello, the Schuyler County Ministerial Alliance, Cleaver Dermatology, Midwest Gold and Silver, Kirksville Dental Group, Countryside Flowers, Rose Hardware, Corner Studio, Tangles Salon, Hair Co, Sydenstricker, Kirksville Assembly of God, Hearken Hearing, Phil McIntosh, Hearing Care Partners, Kirksville United Methodist Church, Horizon Credit Union, Cortech, 660 CMO, Jaylena and Trisha at Jaylena’s Salon, Tina’s Hair Hut, Yours Truly Salon, Spanish Curl, Rapture Salon, Paragon, Elevated Salon, Reflections 2000, Alvena’s Beauty Palace, Curtis Contracting and the individuals in our communities that also saw value in this project.
