Head Start Participates in Child Advocacy Day at the State Capitol
CAPNEMO's Head Start crew traveled to Jefferson City to participate in Child Advocacy Day. This gave our staff the opportunity to speak to our state representatives and encourage them to keep the Head Start mission in mind as they vote and allocate funding within the next coming year. Staff shared their testimonies about working in the classroom and the importance of childcare and education during the first five years of a child's life. We are proud of crew for sharing their voice!
